You must be aged 18 or older to enter our competition and resident in the UK or the Republic of Ireland. Employees of Sage, or any organisation professionally involved in this promotion, or their close relatives, are not eligible to enter.
Entries may be submitted from 09.00 on 21 October 2013. The closing date by which entries must be received by us is 23.59 on 19 December 2013. Entries received after that time will not be considered for this competition.
We will only accept one entry into a competition per entrant, and the prize will be awarded to the individual nominated (the “nominee”), not the entrant making the submission. The entrant is advised to check and is responsible for any tax implications which may arise as a result of the nominee accepting a prize. No nominee may win more than one prize.
One prize will be awarded per week, from 21 October for nine weeks. Winning entries will be selected by us and our designated representative, Fresh Networks Global Limited (“Fresh Networks”), at our discretion. We or Fresh Networks will contact you as soon as we can to let you know if your nomination has been selected to win a prize.
The weekly prize will be Amazon.co.uk vouchers to the value of £300, or the equivalent in Euros for nominees who are Irish residents.
In the unlikely event that we have difficulties in acquiring this prize, we have the right to substitute an alternative provided that any substitutions shall be of equal or greater value. If your nominee is a lucky winner, you or the nominee cannot request an alternative prize or a cash alternative. If the prize is unclaimed after one month it will be deemed to have been forfeited and we reserve the right to award the prize to another nominee.
To enter our competition, simply enter online at http://uk.sageone.com/plus-one and send us:
• Your name, together with a contact telephone number and email address;
• The name of the nominee; and
• A summary (in a maximum of 200 words) as to why the nominee deserves to win a prize.
Paragraph 7 below contains more information about the content of the submission. If we consider that your submission does not meet our guidance, the submission will be rejected without notice to you.
It is your responsibility to make sure that you have consent from the nominee to allow us to use their name (and any other personal details which may be included in the submission), to administer this competition. When we contact you to let you know that you have been selected to win a prize, we will ask you to provide the nominee’s contact details (and to confirm that the nominee has consented to us contacting them) so that we can arrange for the delivery of the prize.
If you enter this competition you agree (and confirm that the nominee has agreed), that we may use any personal details contained in the submission to administer and run this competition. We may need to share your and the nominee’s details with Fresh Networks, or such other agents or contractors (as we may determine) who help us to run our competitions, marketing and promotional activities. If you and the nominee do not consent to such use, please do not enter the competition. We will not use your details, or those of the nominee, for any other purpose or pass them to any other third party unless we have specific consent to do so.
By submitting an entry, you agree to co-operate with us for publicity purposes free of charge. This may include the publication (including on the internet) of the name and photograph of you as the entrant and/or the nominee as the winner in the announcement of the result.
If you have indicated in the entry form that you are happy for us to do so: we may keep a record of your name and email address and use these to contact you in the future to let you know about our services and products, as well as other promotions, which we think may interest you. We may also need to share your details with our agents or contractors who help us to run our marketing and promotional activities.
